> The Brothers Karamazov is the work won Excellent New Work by the Korea Culture and Arts Committee, at 2017 and this work of the running time 7 hours record the longest running time in Korea. For 200th anniversary of Dostoevsky’s death, after long investigation for experimental image, again at 2021, this work is appeared on the stage and finally is selected, Theater of The Year by Daily Journal, Choseon.

> Most of all, this Performance is distinguished by the deepest meaning about the humanity interpreted from the original novel of Dostoevsky and its various, enriched artistic express.

> Especially, this performance which expose sensorialized concept by making mouvement and sensorial metaphor of various meaning, stimulates simultaneously the unconscious mind, and consciousness and rationality of contemporary audience in the humanity, transcending the age.

> ● Synopsis:
> 
> The time when Dostoevsky has just finished his novel, The Brothers Karamazov, he forefeel his imminent death. And he begins to tell the novel to audience like a last testament. Dostoevsky wish to play his story by a performance. Because he has wanted to be an actor.
> His performance is started by introduction of Karamazov family of Dostoevsky as raisonneur.

> A family tragedy centered around a father and his sons (Dmitri, Ivan, Alyosha) of different mothers including illegitimate child, Smerdyakov. Fyodor is a greedy landowner, lecher, and neglect his sons. His sons are sent away to be brought up by relative and friends.

> After 20 years, Dmitri dispute with Fyodor about inheritance left to him by his mother and come to father’s house to claim that. Besides Fyodor and Dmitri get rivals for the love of Grushenka. And the others two sons, Ivan, Alyosha come to father’s house for different purposes each other. Dostoevsky finish explainning background of tragedy story of the family and the performance begin in earnest.
